Sharon police are looking for a man police say shot one woman to death and bludgeoned two others Wednesday morning.
According to police, an arrest warrant has been issued for Calvin Young, 25, 432 Malleable St., Sharon, on charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
According to reports, police were called to 670 Baldwin Ave. about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found Carolyn McVehil, 21, of that address, in the living room with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead.
A 49-year-old Sharon woman and a 19-year-old Uniontown, Pa., woman were bludgeoned with a handgun by the suspect. Both suffered injuries to the head and required medical treatment.
Police said Young knew all three women.
According to police, due to the proximity of the incident, students at a nearby elementary school were dismissed to their parents.
