The Ohio State Health Department confirms the state's first swine flu death.

The man, in his 40's, was from Hamilton in Butler County and died Monday at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Southwest Ohio. His identity isn't being released, but officials say he did have underlying health problems that may have contributed to his death.

So far, the state has more than a hundred confirmed cases of H1N1.  Already, 170 Americans have been killed by the pandemic flu strain, and 34,000 have been sickened.
