The community continues to rally around the victim of a brutal crime.

Some 40 volunteers, ranging from high school students to prisoners, worked on Joe Kaluza's new home Saturday.

Kaluza is the former KFC manager who was robbed, shot and left for dead while on his way to make a bank deposit last year. The shooting left Kaluza paralyzed from the neck down and wheelchair bound.

This new home, constructed largely by volunteers and donations, will be completely handicap accessible. They could still use volunteer help if you'd like to get involved.  They're looking for volunteers to help with framing the house this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Donations can be made at St. Michael's Church in Canfield.
