Anyone wanting an H1N1 flu shot will be able to get one next week in Columbiana County.
The Salem Community Hospital, in partnership with the city and county health departments, will host a flu clinic for the general public on Tuesday, December 29th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The clinic will be held on the ground floor of the hospital in the facility's old surgical waiting room. Anyone attending is asked to enter the hospital through the new surgery center lobby entrance.
Adult and pediatric vaccines, as well as the H1N1 nasal spray vaccine will be available.
In addition, any child ages 6 months to 9 years in need of the H1N1 booster will be able to receive it.
The vaccines are being provided free of charge, however, participants are asked to complete an H1N1 form online at www.odh.ohio.gov.
Any questions regarding the clinic may be directed to the hospital’s Public Relations Department at 330-332-7227.
